The day has come for two major wrap-up events in our project- counter tops and our new front entry.
Paul will be here this morning (with Billy) from Imperial Tile and Marble. We were also able to get a big enough cut out of the slab to do our bow window sill. I stopped in on Billy buffing it all out on Saturday. We are hoping for Northern Electric to come back and hookup the cooktop and downdraft tomorrow…right now they want us to wait until June 13th!!!
Wayne and Dallas will return (have been working at another gig) to install our new front door system and to dismantle/rework the interior door system currently in place. Tom spent Saturday breaking up and removing the old tile and cleaning up all the stone work that surrounds front door. I made my usual haul to the recycle center yesterday and did a bit of power washing. I ordered a mahogany storm door that I will hand finish to match the poppy door. It should be in today. Got it from Sweet Lumber.
Lloyd and Mark should be back this week to put in the new tile.
