Sophie has always liked hanging out in a box. In fact, if you visit our home you will notice various sizes of boxes throughout the house just for Soph. She has her lounging boxes, her sleeping boxes, her boxes for play and contemplation, her screen room boxes and so many more. As a kitten she had a little San Pellegrino box that she loved more than most. We just happened to have an empty one on the floor…
So deep in sleep on one of her many condo perches around the house she had a dream…what if I could finally fit into that small box from when I was a kitten. It’s been a long winter, I’ve maybe grown a bit here and there, but what if I could manage a squeeze into one of my old fitting boxes of youth…back in Chicago, where spaces were smaller but my perch was so amazing…ahh, if only… She awakes to find a small San Pellegrino box in the middle of the dining room floor. As Tom and I work in the kitchen, we catch her out of the corner of our eyes trying to get cozy in the equivalent of her italian jeans from youth. Does she succeed? See for yourself….
