OK so I have a bit going on that’s been keeping me from a daily post. All good, but just little time to do any meaningful update. Soooo, another composite post and a sneak peek at the cabinets.
Last week, Paul from Imperial Tile and Marble Works did the templating for our Quartzite counter tops. Antonio Fonseca, our masonary guy, stopped by to carve out a new letter slot opening and to do some brick cut-out work for us. He’s probably the happiest person I know. He’s tremendously gifted at his craft and he loves Sophie ;). Always a pleasure to have him do work around our home.
Joe Brito, of Brito Lawncare, has been working on regrading and reshaping our yard. We’re looking to reduce the amount of lawn space and what we do have will be organic. Joe and his team did some excellent work for us installing an new organic lawn at our previous home so we knew he would be our guy with this larger project in our new digs.
Wayne and Dallas are pretty close to finishing the cabinet work and next comes the trim. Mike Borkowski, a certified Thermador Installer will be here today to install our new built in fridge.
The weekend took us to Southside Community Land Trust’s annual rare and unusual plant sale. Sophie inspected all purchases and spent time hanging out in her super cool orange cruiser.
