In the category of “can’t make this stuff up” my tile has arrived, sort of. The mystery of why it took so long to get here is now solved. The truck was in an accident and you guessed it, my tile was part of the delivery impacted. The good news is that it was only 50 square feet so Lloyd and Mark will be able to get started on the floor today.
On another note, a big thank-you goes out to Jason and Sam (of Northern Lights Electric) who came out after their “normal” day of work to set the remodel cans in the new plaster ceilings. It may not seem like such a big deal in the grand scheme of things but when someone works really hard (John’s Drywall & Plaster) to put in such a beautiful ceiling it really, really mattered to us that electrical cans were in before painting (the remodel cans). This required the guys to switch some work around to be here on short notice. They got it done.
