So we are in a holding pattern on tile installation. Turns out my tile is on a truck somewhere in the Northeast. Despite being told that it would be here last Thursday, then Friday, then Monday and yesterday, it is still not available. We are a bit frustrated not only about the delays but also about what that means to other members of the project team and their schedules. We all need to be adaptable but not everyone is on board with what that means…
So I thought I’d just post some random shots of observations and work from the last couple of days. We had another bit of our water filtration installed by Scott from Apuzzo Plumbing. Dave Apuzzo is totally customer centric. Super company. I also spent time hauling and recycling to the Rhode Island Resource Recovery Corp in Johnston. They have a massive operation that is impressive to be a part of. Say hi to “Wheatie” the next time you jump on the scale with your load- he’s usually working.
So on his way out the door this morning Tom reminded me of a quote he likes, “It’s OK to look at the past, just don’t stare”.
