1100 lbs of Bamboo Cabinet Parts Arrive

Our kitchen project is not following the same standard gourmet kitchen redo approach. After months and months of looking for bamboo cabinets at various pricepoints we decided to go with IKEA backend carcasses and custom made bamboo doors and drawer fronts. In addition, the new kitchen required several custom pieces to support our design. All bamboo work was done by Semihandmade out of Los Angeles (more on these guys later). So in the end we have hundreds of IKEA pieces that will be brought together with close to that many bamboo bits. Today we received delivery of two ginormous pallets, each 4′ x 8′. They were shipped to us from Los Angeles via R&L Carriers. The delivery driver, Tom did a great job unloading these pallets with the much appreciated assistance of our contractors Wayne and Dallas.
